We are proud to launch the first-ever book “Digital Media and Pandemic: Experiences and Ameliorations” featuring chapters written by 7th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication (MEDCOM) 2022 participants. This book is a celebration of the incredible research and insights that were presented at the conference, and a testament to the hard work and dedication of all those involved.
The MEDCOM 2022 conference was a resounding success, bringing together some of the brightest minds in the media community to discuss the latest advancements, share ideas and collaborate on research projects. The best of these ideas and research findings have been compiled in a single volume, which we are proud to launch.
The book features chapters on a wide range of topics related to digital media and the pandemic, including the impact of social media on the spread of misinformation, the use of digital tools for remote work and education, the role of digital media in maintaining social connections during lockdowns, and the potential for digital media to support mental health and well-being.
Congratulations to all the authors whose work is featured in this book. Special gratitude to the editors of the book Dr. Ruheela Hassan and Dr. Keshav Patel, whose hard work and dedication made this book possible.
